This is my last post for the 46-day journey of the Lenten season (40 days of Lent and 6 Sundays). I appreciate those of you who have followed along with me. This is such a special week. Good Friday was the ending…but tomorrow is Easter and it is the day of new life and new beginnings. For me, it is a reminder that I am not defined by my failures or my past but instead by how I rise again. And again. And again. Stronger each time, with new hope…and fully forgiven. He loves us so much.
“The fear that held us now gives way to Him who is our peace. His final breath upon the cross is now alive in me. Your name. Your name. Is victory. All praise will rise to Christ our King. By Your spirit I will rise from the ashes of defeat. The resurrected King is resurrecting me. In Your name I come alive to declare Your victory. The resurrected King is resurrecting me.” Amen
