My name is Stacey and I am a freelance writer. I currently live in Indiana but I will always be a Kentucky girl at heart. I enjoy gardening and playing in the dirt. Planting my own vegetables from seeds and watching them grow brings me joy. I travel as often as I can and one of my favorite places to explore is Japan. I feel an unexplainable peace when I am there. I love animals and my two cats are my besties. I have discovered that my backyard is a superhighway for wildlife, and I enjoy capturing our visitors on my trail cam. Deer, racoons, groundhogs, opossums, skunks, foxes, rabbits, squirrels, birds, (and even a bobcat on one occasion) are all regulars here. I saw a groundhog and a raccoon dining together on birdseed once and I tried to imagine their conversations! I have always worked in the science field, but I am a writer at heart. I enjoy blogging, travel writing, and technical writing. Life is a wild, sometimes scary, always amazing ride. I am learning as I go.
