I’m Published Again:)

As I mentioned in my last entry, another one of my travel articles has been published!  I am really excited that the content manager at goabroad.com thought my entry was written well enough to post on their site.  (I am NOT a professional writer and I have a lot to learn!).  But I truly am honored for this opportunity.  I entered a contest on their site last fall and the topic was “Top 5 things to do or see” so I wrote about my experience in Okinawa, Japan last August.  Follow the link below (please copy and paste the link to your browser):

I was also published on wesaidgotravel.com recently with a different article.  The topic was an “awe inspiring place.”  I again wrote about my trip to Okinawa but this article was much more personal…it was about overcoming depression after the break up of my marriage.  Follow the link below (please copy and paste the link to your browser):

I recently submitted more of my work to wesaidgotravel.com so hopefully I will have more good news in the near future. My contact at goabroad.com asked if I would be interested in submitting more articles, so I am looking forward to working with them!

Also, I  have been asked by someone I connected with on Twitter to write about his life story.  I am truly honored that he reached out to me after reading my blog and thought I would be a good fit.  I pray I can do his story justice.  The end product will be posted here upon completion so please stay tuned!  I think it is going to be a great read about a man who has experienced a lot of darkness throughout his life but has managed to overcome.  I am grateful that he contacted me!

I did not make it to church today due to it being cancelled because of the ice storm we experienced this morning.  First Sunday I have missed since last August!  I am looking forward to warmer weather so life can feel more “normal” again…it has really been a bad winter.  I am still alive though…I am healthy…I am blessed…and I am thankful.
