I want to take a moment to update everyone on my current writing project and collaboration with my new friend Kurt Serpe. Kurt asked me to help him write his life story after reading my blog. He contacted me on Twitter and after a three hour phone conversation that evening I knew immediately that God was directing me to take on this project. I told Kurt that I would be honored to help him.
Kurt’s story is powerful and without any doubt I believe it will help others. His intention is not to motivate but rather to share the raw details of his life including frustrations, struggles, disappointments, victories and paths he took that led to his darkest hours. His story is an inspiring one of survival, faith, courage, resilience, love, determination and transformation among many other things. He has dealt with a lot of heart break in his life but he has made it through. Ultimately it is a story of overcoming insecurities and ones own demons. It is about finding forgiveness of others as well as forgiving oneself. It is a journey of finding light in the darkness.
