“Make new friends,
But keep the old.
One is silver,
The other is gold.”
I have been blessed to be surrounded by MANY strong, confident women throughout my life. Women understand each others ever changing moods and craziness! We are there for each other to just LISTEN and not “fix” everything. We encourage one another and lift each other up. We are there to support one another through thick and thin. We laugh together and we cry together and sometimes we do both at the same time! We are each other’s cheerleader in life in general. We face life’s challenges together and strengthen each other. We tell each other our deepest secrets and dreams without fear of judgment. We each have our own struggles but we share a common bond that some people (you men people 😉 ) do not always quite understand and really aren’t supposed to. We are NOT fair weather friends. We celebrate life together on the sunny days and we hold each other tight through the storms. We vacation together, we eat together, we watch movies together, we are sometimes each other’s emergency contact, we are each others big sister, little sister, mom…and much much more. We text each other good morning. We text each other prayers. We email. We call. We drop by unannounced sometimes. We frustrate each other occasionally but we still love each other. We drop everything and help each other. We do not have it all figured out. We need each other.
I am sharing a few pictures of some very important women in my life. Some I see every day. Some I see once or twice a month. Some I see once a year. Some I see every couple of years. Some I see every 20 years. And no matter what, we can pick up right where we left off. There are SO MANY MORE and I thank all of you for being strong confident women in my life. I’ve been abundantly blessed with silver and gold! 🌟
Cherish your friendships. It is not the quantity of friends you have…it is the quality of those you keep close. The ones who get you are there for a reason.
Thank You God for blessing me with the women You have placed in my path on this journey through life. Thank you for friendships that nurture us and give us a sense of belonging. We are Your daughters and we thank You for loving each of us the way You do. In Jesus name, Amen.
Blessings,
