On March 6, 2016 I shared a blog about the Suicide Awareness Walk for Austin Ray Mayfield that is planned to be held on Saturday May 14, 2016. I received an update from the walk organizer and I wanted to pass along the information to anyone who is interested in attending. I know I have readers in the Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN area who might be interested in participating. If you are unable to attend, you may still donate to the cause.

If you are new here, I have posted links below to the blog I shared about Austin Ray Mayfield, who lost his life in 2014 to suicide, as well as the blog from March 6, 2016. By creating awareness, we can help end the stigma of mental illness and depression. Precious lives are being lost because they feel there is no hope. By spreading awareness and reaching out, we CAN help those who feel they have no other options.
